French engraver of the 19th century. He was establish in Paris. Probably, he was also a printmaker: in his engravings appears the legend: “À Paris. De l’imprimerie de Langlois, rue de Thionville, ci-devant Dauphine numéro 130, maison de Mouy“.
According the funds of some historical Libraries, Philibert Langlois did engravings for the magna opera of Alexandre de Laborde: “Voyage pittoresque et historique de l’Espagne“, published in Paris, in the press of Pierre Didot the Elder, between 1806 and 1820.
Some pieces of him are presents in the Bonaparte’s Museum, on Auxonne (France).
